Undoubtedly the strongest Queensland program is this day which sees the running of the $1.5 million dollar Stradbroke, one of the more competitive handicaps in the country.

Also run on this program is the Queensland Derby, Group 1 JJ Atkins Plate and the Queensland Guineas, all of which are strong form races for up and coming gallopers in Australia.

Caulfield Guineas day starts the three-day Caulfield Carnival with the feature being the $2 million dollar Caulfield Guineas, one of the most sought after stallion-making races in the country.

Day one of the 'The Championships' at Royal Randwick sees the running of the $3 million dollar Doncaster Handicap, a famous race that dates all the way back to 1866.

The Inglis Sires, Australian Derby and one of the strongest sprint races in Australia with the TJ Smith Stakes, also make-up one of the biggest days of the Sydney Autumn Carnival.

Golden Slipper Day has a whopping five Group 1's on the program and features the most prestigious two year-old race in the country via the Golden Slipper Stakes.
