The Course Proper hosts the overwhelming majority of Randwick's major racedays, with the spring program featuring races such as the Winx Stakes, The Everest and Epsom Handicap before the focus shifts towards an even larger autumn carnival.
Autumn brings together some of Australian racing's most recognisable events, including the Randwick Guineas, Australian Derby, Doncaster Mile, TJ Smith Stakes, Queen Elizabeth Stakes and Sydney Cup, making the venue a focal point of elite racing across several consecutive weekends.
The precinct also contains the Kensington track, which operates as a separate racing circuit and is predominantly used for Sydney's midweek metropolitan program.
