The 2026 Queensland Oaks, one of Australia’s top staying races for three-year-old fillies, headlines the Eagle Farm meeting on June 6. With a tradition dating to 1951, this Group 1 event features a strong field. Panova is the early favourite after Group-level success, backed by good track form and a favourable draw. Parvenu presents solid each-way value, displaying consistency in top company. Meanwhile, Tartanya is an appealing outsider, bred to handle the Oaks distance. The key recommendation is to follow Panova closely if the track stays dry.

The Group 1 Queensland Oaks headlines the Eagle Farm meeting on June 6, with the Brisbane Winter Carnival feature carrying a rich history dating back to 1951.

Won by champions such as Surround, Ethereal and Winx, the Queensland Oaks remains one of Australia's premier staying contests for three-year-old fillies and has produced many elite performers over the decades.

Panova heads the early market for the 2026 Queensland Oaks, with $3.60 her quote via Dabble.

2026 Queensland Oaks Tips

2026 Queensland Oaks Best Bet - Panova

Her spring campaign culminated with back-to-back Group 3 victories, with the latest coming over a mile when taking out the Carbine Club Stakes on Victoria Derby Day.

Panova was well held in the Group 1 Surround Stakes at her 2026 resumption, but there was improvement in the Phar Lap Stakes before a plain effort followed in the Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes when stepping to 2000m.

That form saw her start at an each-way quote in the Australasian Oaks, where the Chris Waller-trained filly bounced back strongly in the Adelaide feature.

It may simply be a case of keeping Panova on good tracks, with her two worst runs this campaign both coming on Soft 6 surfaces.

She's the most brilliant filly contesting the 2026 Queensland Oaks, while a drying surface and a good barrier give her a chance to run out a strong 2200m.
2026 Queensland Oaks Next Best Bet - Parvenu

Holding form deep into a first campaign is never easy, but it is hard to knock the way Parvenu has been going.

After bouncing back from an unlucky debut effort, she broke through in style at Cranbourne at her second start.

The filly brought up win number two at start four with a strong display on the Caulfield Heath track on April 29, sustaining an early move in the process.

The Roses is the key lead-up reference to the Queensland Oaks, and her effort in that 2000m Group 2 on May 23 was as good as any, warming into fifth at her first clockwise attempt.

Horses often improve after their first outing on the other leg, and with her half-sister Pose a Listed winner over this trip, there is confidence that Parvenu can see out the journey.
2026 Queensland Oaks Value Bet - Tartanya

Big odds are available for Tartanya, who looks a stayer with a bright future.

She was unlucky in The Roses, covering ground throughout the 2000m contest, which was also her first attempt racing clockwise.

Hopefully this time around, especially with the pre-race earmuffs applied, the daughter of Adelaide can settle kindly and be given every chance to finish off.

Her campaign opened with a 1300m breakthrough before just missing at Caulfield in Saturday company, a race taken out by Highvol.

Highvol had strong early-season references, including a stakes placing over this trip, and with Tartanya bred to relish the extra distance, she appeals as one of the better outsiders in the 2026 Queensland Oaks.
