The Melbourne Autumn Racing Carnival is the city's racing's return for the new year and helps shape the next 12 months of racing in Australia.

There's no shortage of Group One racing of all types, with two of the most popular races on the schedule the Blue Diamond Stakes and the newly minted, but not yet Group One All Star Mile. 

The Melbourne Autumn Racing Carnival kicks off in February, but doesn't truly hit its straps until March. The centrepiece day is Super Saturday, which contains a number of Group One races including the Newmarket Handicap and the Australian Stakes.
