Belmont Tips June 6
Bisley Workwear Handicap Tips (Race 4)
Belmont Next Best Bet - Race 4 No. 2 Mr Karadec
This Class 1 is a decent drop in grade for Mr Karadec.
He was well held on resumption over 1200m, although it was contested in a handy three-year-old plate on May 23, and he stuck on fairly after getting his head up early and settling further back than anticipated.
The son of Castelvecchio now gets to 1400m, and after a good performance in a strong maiden on debut on December 7, he led throughout at Pinjarra to salute over this trip before a spell.
He's not the finished product yet, but it would be surprising if he wasn't the best horse to come from this race.
The main danger in the market is Friar's Legacy, who admittedly returned well at Ascot in April, but he's had every chance in two subsequent attempts.
Raymond Burgess Memorial Handicap Tips (Race 7)
Belmont Roughie - Race 7 No. 7 Ilgiro Delmondo
Her winning touch last campaign was found at Belmont over similar journeys, and both victories came with Shaun O'Donnell in the saddle.
The veteran takes back the reins here after an unlucky May 20 attempt where the mare was wide throughout.
Considering the tough run, there was merit to that performance, and she arrived there off two 1800m attempts at Ascot in tougher company, while being caught working early in the latter of those.
Her form is better than it reads, which also includes the return seventh at Ascot when beaten under a length.
With a few more favours in the run and arriving at Saturday's assignment with a good fitness base, Ilgiro Delmondo is not without an each-way chance here at a big price.
Raconteur Stakes Tips (Race 8)
Belmont Best Bet - Race 8 No. 5 Hot And High
Leading the Raconteur Stakes market is the unbeaten Hot And High.
It's hard to find any fault with the favourite, who bolted in with all three appearances in spring, which included a Listed attempt over this distance before a spell.
After getting the job done first-up on May 9 over 1200m, the Dion Luciani-trained galloper overcame trouble to salute in her latest as a well-backed odds-on elect, showing tenacity to take a tight gap after being held up.
Although rising to Stakes company here, she's well in under the set weights and penalties conditions, carrying 1.5kg less despite returning against her own age group.
From a good draw and with an in-form Lucy Fiore in the saddle, Hot And High should get every chance to stretch the winning streak to six.
Quayclean Handicap Tips (Race 9)
Belmont Value Bet - Race 9 No. 3 Charino
It was an honest return from Charino over 1000m at Ascot on April 25 when settling outside the leader with 60.5kg.
He only found Black Ora better late, a winner who was fitter and also enjoyed the perfect run on his back.
Not much went right following that with a month between runs on May 23.
After a conservative ride from a wide draw, he was in restricted room for that second-up attempt, a performance well worth forgiving, and he still recorded the second-fastest last 800m, 600m and 400m of the meeting.
This is technically a rise in grade, which allows Charino to now get further down in the weights with 55.5kg, 3.5kg less than he carried last start, while his last campaign peak was recorded third-up over this distance when covering ground at Ascot.
