Her tenth-of-twelve finish at Ascot last time was far better than it reads, with the five-year-old completely unsuited when forced to settle back in an on-speed dominated race.
Despite that, she rattled off the fastest closing sectionals on the entire January 10 card, which brings her into calculations at big odds.
Caulfield Roughie Tip
Caulfield Roughie - Race 9 No. 11 Immediacy
Immediacy won his first three starts, completing the hat-trick with a strong Group 2 victory at Caulfield.
He then closed his first preparation with two fifth-placed efforts in Group 1 company, performances that hinted at genuine upside.
Things went awry early in his four-year-old campaign, before the gelding turned a corner last autumn with back-to-back wins over middle distances.
The blinkers go on following three jump-outs, and with 1600m to 2000m appearing his sweet spot, he looks capable of outrunning his odds.

Doomben Roughie - Race 6 No. 1 Earl Of Bantry
Earl Of Bantry was flying before joining the Ciaron Maher stable, winning five of seven starts under Cameron Crockett.
That run included a spring double and a $500,000 Four Pillars victory, where he accounted for Sonofdec in strong fashion.
His Magic Millions Day run can be forgiven after drawing wide, settling back against his preferred on-speed pattern, and being ridden conservatively.
With that run under his belt, he profiles to improve sharply third-up if afforded more favourable conditions.
Morphettville Roughie Tip
Morphettville Roughie - Race 9 No. 10 Invertational
If Invertational is to strike in Adelaide, it shapes as most likely early in a preparation where she has historically produced her best work.
Her two runs for the Will Clarken yard this time in have been sound without threatening, but her strongest performance for the stable clearly came fresh.
The mare resumes here off two jump-outs, bolting in during the latest, which suggests she has returned in good order.
Her last win was a first-up defeat of Danny’s St Darci, who was Group placed at her next two starts and won at Listed level later that preparation.
Randwick Roughie Tip
Randwick Roughie - Race 6 No. 1 Wooloowin
Wooloowin looked a potential stakes-class mare early last year after bolting in with a Magic Millions Rising Stars victory.
She was then well supported in Group 3 company during the autumn, though those runs failed to fully live up to market expectation.
The four-year-old’s two summer outings have been far more encouraging, highlighted by the fastest last 800m, 600m and 400m on December 27.
Second-up on Magic Millions Day, there was merit in her three-length defeat after striking traffic in a slowly run race.
