Caulfield Favourite - Race 3 No. 3 Guest House
Guest House is currently fighting for Blue Diamond favouritism with stablemate Big Sky and will further shape the markets for the February 21 feature if he justifies an odds-on quote on Saturday.
He is far from the finished product, with the big, strong son of Home Affairs still getting by on raw ability at this stage of his career.
That was evident on debut at Cranbourne when he covered ground and still found a way to win.
The colt again did a few things wrong when winning a tick-over jump-out on January 26.
He may be a preparation or so away from fully furnishing, but there is not much quality standing out among the current two-year-old ranks and he has shown as much talent as any juvenile seen this season.

Caulfield Value Bet - Race 5 No. 2 Buccleuch
A late market drift suggested Buccleuch would need the run fresh at Flemington, and that January 17 effort is a solid one to build off.
Fitness just gave out late in that run, which was understandable given the wide trip and the fact he was resuming.
With that outing under the belt and a January 28 jump-out since, he holds a clear fitness edge over the classy Observer.
While the Godolphin colt went to another level in spring, Buccleuch easily had his measure in their sole clash last winter.
Beating Arcora twice also ties him in closely with the favourite through the Victoria Derby form, and he shapes as a genuine each-way chance.

Caulfield Next Best Bet - Race 7 No. 1 Tom Kitten
Things never really panned out for Tom Kitten during the spring.
He was on the back foot early, being scratched at the gates for the Memsie Stakes before contesting a farcically run Makybe Diva Stakes first-up.
Third and fourth-up were the pick of that campaign, chasing hard in a fast-run King Charles III Stakes.
He was then spelled after finishing third behind superstar Via Sistina in the Champions Stakes.
He is not always the easiest horse to catch and track pattern will be important, but under weight-for-age conditions he is clearly the class runner and is a proven fresh horse.
Evergreen Turf Peter Le Grand Stakes Tips (Race 8)
Caulfield Best Bet - Race 8 No. 2 Alpha Sofie
Alpha Sofie was sent south after recording a Brisbane double last winter, with her final Queensland win full of merit.
She sustained a long, wide run in that race and still finished off strongly.
Off a good jump-out, we were with her in her Melbourne debut and she duly saluted, taking out the Atlantic Jewel Stakes by two lengths before a spell.
That Listed race for three-year-old fillies has proven a strong form reference, producing Ole Dancer, Salty Pearl and Ferivia as Group winners.
With the best exposed form in the field and another solid jump-out since, Alpha Sofie looks ideally placed fresh against her own sex.

Caulfield Roughie - Race 9 No. 11 Immediacy
Immediacy won his first three starts, completing the hat-trick with a big Group 2 victory at Caulfield.
He then recorded two fifth-placed finishes in Group 1 company when closing out his first preparation.
Things went awry during a poor early four-year-old campaign, before he turned a corner last autumn with back-to-back wins.
The Brisbane failure can be attributed to conditions, and he has clearly been less effective in four attempts at 2400m, with 1600m to 2000m looking his range.
Arriving off three jump-outs without blinkers, the headgear goes on for race day and he looks capable of outrunning his odds.
