Blackbook Runners For Newcastle

Race Four:

Coat Of Arms (second). Kept the short favourite Meadow Land extremely honest throughout. The winner had beat a useful one in Rock On My Wand on debut and with more than six length margin to third here, I'd expect the form to hold up.

This two-year-old had excuses on debut when green and wide throughout but took good improvement from that experience and next time out, Coat Of Arms should be breaking through off this performance.

Race Six:

Sarah Elizabeth (fifth). Appeared to be plain to they eye as was her attempt prior at Wyong but it was a big improvement off that in inferior going and as the last two betting drifts have supported, she doesn't handle wet tracks.

Her only two other starts included a brilliant win on debut and a completely luckless first-up performance back in April. If she finds a firm deck soon, Sarah Elizabeth may be one that gets around at a good price in a better set-up and could be a big improver.

Blackbook Runners For Hamilton

Race Four:

Loose Lip Lloyd (fourth). Was big odds here resuming in his second racing preparation and although he didn't show a whole lot in that first campaign, there was obviously some opinion of him early as he went around at single figures in his first three starts and was well supported on debut ($5.00 - $3.40).

Reportedly played up in the barriers which caused him to be much slower away than usual before getting home from near last on a tough card to be off-speed. That's as well as Loose Lip Lloyd has gone to date and he had definite excuses.

Race Five:

Indian Rani (fourth). First-up here since last being seen at Swan Hill in August last year and off that long spell, was eased back early with intention of running on but when riding for luck in the straight, the breaks just never came in the last furlong where she was traveling strongly.

Don't think she wins irrespective as Action In Cairns did put a decent space on his rivals, however Indian Rani should've at least run second in what was a nice return by the Paul Preusker-trained mare.
