A very competitive field has been assembled for the 2023 Magic Millions 3YO Guineas, with Russian Conquest (barrier 9) one of the early fancies.
A filly that just missed in the 2022 Magic Millions 2yo Classic, she arrives off an excellent resumption in the Gosford Guineas, with King Of Sparta (2022 Magic Millions 3YO Guineas winner) following the same path last year, a galloper that was also prepared by Peter & Paul Snowden.
King Of The Mountain winner Yellow Brick (barrier 5) has won five of six starts and shown great versatility, wins victories over 1100m, 1200m, 1400m and 1600m.
A galloper from the Tony & Maddysen Sears stable in Toowoomba, Yellow Brick will make his own luck on the speed.
Tijuana (barrier 7) is a two-time stakes winner in Victoria that pulled up lame in the Carbine Club on Derby Day, so will contest this event first-up.
A strong 1400m will be the least of his problems and the Hayes runner brings strong form from the Melbourne Spring Carnival.
Hell I Am (barrier 11) won three of four attempts in his second campaign and his return was impressive, with the John O'Shea galloper winning the Magic Millions Wyong 3yo & 4yo Stakes comfortably.
He'll be looking to bounce back off a third in the Gosford Guineas, which he contested second-up.
Last start winners Fashion Legend (barrier 18), Spiritualised (barrier 16), Soothsayer (barrier 19) and Latakia (barrier 3) are also included in the final field for the Magic Millions 3YO Guineas.
