BoomBet have launched a comprehensive list of futures markets for the Spring Carnival including the Caulfield Cup, Cox Plate and Melbourne Cup.

The wait is over as the big Spring prizes arrive in both Melbourne and Sydney through September to November.

Everything gears up towards the big three - the Caulfield Cup on October 20, the Cox Plate seven days later on October 27 and the Melbourne Cup on November 6.

We have taken a look at the current state of play in the BoomBet betting markets and the All-In odds available across the three features.

Don't forget to use the BoomBox, where you find racing promotions and offers for members logged into their accounts.

Caulfield Cup - October 21

The Caulfield Cup is the first of the three majors and it is Without A Fight who heads a hugely competitive market with BoomBet.

Anthony & Sam Freedman's runner heads into the Spring Carnival on the back-to-back wins in Queensland last preparation since finishing 13th in last year's Melbourne Cup.

Chris Waller's Francesco Guardi won the Moonee Valley Cup last Spring Carnival but Chris Waller's runner wasn't seen again until 10th in the Group 1 Winx Stakes in August 2023.

The other favoured runner in the all-in betting is West Wind Blows, an international contender for Simon & Ed Crisford. A Group 3 winner in France, he will head to Australia on the back of third of four in the Group 1 Eclipse Stakes.

Breakup and Sharp 'N' Smart are the next in line in the futures.

Cox Plate - October 28

It might be early days but we have a dominant favourite for the Cox Plate in the shape of Hong Kong contender Romantic Warrior.

With a Group 1 Hong Kong Cup and Queen Elizabeth Stakes among the six-year-old's wins, he will bring top-class form to Australia if taking his chance.

The Anthony & Sam Freedman-trained Without A Fight is next in line although he may be targetted at the Caulfield Cup as his preferred quest.

Ciaron Maher & David Eustace's import Light Infantry is bound for the Cox Plate as he starts his preparation, while the Aidan O'Brien-trained Paddington is also at single-figure odds.

Paddington has won seven in a row, including four Group 1s, since losing for the only time on debut.

Melbourne Cup - November 7

There are plenty of twists and turns to come in the Melbourne Cup betting throughout the spring, but it is international galloper Vauban who occupies top spot.

Trained in Ireland by Willie Mullins, he has already carried the pink and green colours to victory over jumps at the highest level at the Cheltenham Festival.

Vauban booked his ticket to Melbourne with a victory in a staying race in Ireland after which he immediately emerged as favourite for the Flemington showpiece.

As things stand, Goldman, Francesco Guardi and Lunar Flare are the main early dangers.
