Belmont Roughie Tip

Belmont Roughie - Race 8 No. 4 Belta Of A Song

Belta Of A Song has always shown talent, but she was a tease for punters over her first few campaigns.

The maiden triumph in October was the spark, as the six-year-old completed a hat-trick before a spell.

She has no fresh form and with this 100k race a target, there's improvement to come off an even return.

Five subsequent winners were produced from her November 24 event and that Class 3 success was over this trip.

Doomben Roughie Tip

Doomben Roughie - Race 9 No. 4 Beau Dazzler

At long odds, there was a push for him first-up in the Queensland Guineas and it was a big run.

With the Queensland Derby in mind, Beau Dazzler could still be one short, albeit he hasn't tasted defeat at 1800m+.

He's currently double the quote of Shangri La Spring and he went straight past that rival only a fortnight ago.

Beau Dazzler is also effective on all surfaces, with his Group 3 Grand Prix win recorded on a Heavy 10.

Flemington Roughie Tip

Flemington Roughie - Race 8 No. 6 Rolls

He kept his 'Bool form going with another win over the famous country carnival and he was only second-up.

The veteran was terrific prior to that when resuming at Listed level (fastest closing splits of the race).

Third-up last prep, Rolls was an all-the-way over a handy Green Fly via an open handicap at The Valley.

Rolls can settle forward or back, while a strong Flemington mile could see the versatile campaigner give a sight.

Morphettville Roughie Tip

Morphettville Roughie - Race 9 No. 9 Vores

She was spelled after being well-held in a strong maiden on debut and Vores returned with a breakthrough win.

Vores ran the fastest last 600m, 400m and 200m of the meeting when making light work of a maiden field.

The runner-up (Denial) brought strong references from her first prep and this mare made light work of that rival.

Although she's not seasoned as her opposition, it's not a strong metro race and Veros has some upside.

Scone Roughie Tip

Scone Roughie - Race 10 No. 3 Givemethebeatboys

A three-time stakes winner in Ireland, Givemethebeatboys is building towards an Australian breakthrough.

European sprinters often lack a turn-of-foot for our shorter trips and getting to 1300m should suit now.

After hitting a flat spot and then coming again last start, the extra 100m on Saturday is ideal for the entire.

On heavy ground, he worked nicely behind a recent Group 1 winner via a Randwick tick-over trial on May 5.
