Lion 3&4yo BM72 Handicap Tips (Race 4)

Scone Value Bet - Race 4 No. 6 Invader Zim

If there's downgrades in the surface, then I suspect that Invader Zim will be the big market firmer here, with the four-year-old arriving here off a solid return.

He's always taken one run to hit his straps and second-up has been his sweet spot, with both victories coming second-up and on rain affected ground.

There's still upside with the lightly raced Invader Zim, who was unlucky second-up as fav last prep in a handy race that included Headley Grange and Point And Shoot.

Muswellbrook Ford BM78 Handicap Tips (Race 5)

Scone Next Best Bet - Race 5 No. 19 Gentileschi

Nothing went her way last prep, where Gentileschi was unsuited first and second-up before finding trouble at a key stage when contesting a metro BM72.

The Group placements at end of both campaigns have been ambitious, however, the Scone local can easily measure up in benchmark company.

Gentileschi got a confidence booster on return at Muswellbrook and with a testing 1700m in her favour second-up, she's found her right Saturday race.

Scone Best Bet - Race 7 No. 6 Soft Love

Matt Laurie and Yulong look to have another smart one in Soft Love and the unbeaten three-year-old is well placed for black-type in this fillies sprint.

The daughter of Pierata handled the rise to metro company with ease when completing a hat-trick at Caulfield and she recorded the fastest last 600m of the April 5 meeting.

She sailed straight past Thames via that most recent success in Melbourne and that Godolphin filly is almost on the second line of betting for this feature.

Arrowfield Dark Jewel Classic Tips (Race 9)

Scone Feature Bet - Race 9 No. 9 Written In Code

This five-year-old is in career best form, with two slick wins to open her autumn prep and there was merit to her last effort in the Hawkesbury Crown.

Written In Code was prominent in the market for that Group 3 despite a big rise in grade and the trifecta of that 1300m race were all in the first three on settling.

The Dark Jewel Classic doesn't appear any harder, where Written In Code stays against the mares and the extra 100m now fourth-up looks ideal.

Scone Equine Luskin Star Stakes Tips (Race 10)

Scone Roughie - Race 10 No. 3 Givemethebeatboys

A three-time stakes winner when campaigning in Ireland, Givemethebeatboys is building towards an Australian breakthrough.

European sprinters often lack a turn-of-foot for our shorter trips and after hitting a flat spot then coming again last start, getting up to 1300m is a positive.

Givemethebeatboys worked nicely behind a recent Group 1 winner via a Randwick tick-over trial on May 5 and that heat was completed on a Heavy 8.
