Eagle Farm Roughie Tip

Eagle Farm Roughie - Race 10 No. 2 Infancy

Infancy got the cash for us fresh at decent odds and she beat a handy Commemorative in the process.

She's now back against her own sex after not letting down as strongly on a Heavy 8, but it was still a solid effort.

The mare had both runs spaced this time in and she arrives off a similar set-up (four weeks between runs).

Firmer ground is a plus for Infancy and as in-form mare who finds a suitable race, she's a good price in the last.

Flemington Roughie Tip

Flemington Roughie - Race 6 No. 4 Snoopy Now

He's deep into the campaign, but Snoopy Now brings good South Australian form to a modest affair.

The gelding didn't stay the 2500m when contesting the South Australian Derby, but he quickly responded.

His May 24 win was soft via a decent metro event and the three-year-old is now back against his own age group.

He's beaten Athanatos at Listed level and that Phillip Stokes-trained runner would be leading this market.

Morphettville Roughie Tip

Morphettville Roughie - Race 9 No. 2 Voltage Point

Winning touch was found on wet tracks when deep into his last prep, so the return victory was somewhat surprising.

You won't find many bad runs from Voltage Point and the four-year-old should've finished closer second-up.

That event was taken out by a Group 3 winner, while this gelding followed it up with an honest third-up effort.

Voltage Point is down in grade off his last two outings and 3kg claimer Felicity Atkinson stays aboard.

Pinjarra Roughie Tip

Pinjarra Roughie - Race 9 No. 15 Upper Limits

He can produce a very big finish under the right conditions and there should be a faster tempo to aim at third-up.

Upper Limits arrives off an even second-up effort and he was backing up from an unlucky return attempt.

The son Exosphere was stakes-class as a three-year-old and he's been competitive since despite a lack of wins.

Luvnwar is the one to beat, but now down in the weights, Upper Limits has top three/four claims at a big price.

Randwick Roughie Tip

Randwick Roughie - Race 9 No. 9 Shadizi

Whinchat is a deserving fav in the penultimate, however, this could be the chance to catch Shadizi at a price.

1300m is a good starting point for Chris Waller-trained import, who has worked nicely in two May trials.

He was strong past the line in the latest and Shadizi showed an electric turn-of-foot when campaigning in France.

The penny dropped at the end, with a 5.5-length victory followed by a Listed win and he's a fresh winner over this trip.
