Inclement weather forced last Saturday's meeting to be abandoned after the fifth event and as a result, three Group 1's will now be contested on June 7, with the Kingsford-Smith Cup and Queensland Derby running alongside the Queensland Oaks.

A 10-race program has been assembled for Eagle Farm and our race-by-race preview is included below.

Eagle Farm Tips June 7

Race 1 - 11:08AM Nova 106.9 Show A Heart Tips (1500m)

Best: 8. Providence. This Chris Waller-trained colt is from the same family as Preferment (four-time Group 1 winner).

The rise in trip will suit Providence, who getting warm late over 1200m on debut (third-fastest last 200m of the card).

Sunrays is a deserving fav, although she hasn't beaten much and Providence could have more upside at 1500m.
Value: 3. North Pole. Kelly Schweida always has to be respected with a two-year-old and North Pole arrives third-up.

While he was wasn't as comfortable second-up on heavy ground, it was another competitive performance.

As an honest and one-paced type, North Pole could be suited rolling along over this longer trip and firmer ground suits.

Race 2 - 11:43AM Ladbrokes Lightning Handicap Tips (1000m)

Best: 1. Steady Ready. He won this race last year with 7kg less, although weights at 1000m aren't a huge factor.

Steady Ready has improved since that first stakes triumph, with a winning hat-trick from his last three outings.

The five-year-old loves this track/trip, with four wins and a second from six tries, and his two May trials were strong.

Value: 10. Shalaa's Moment. While she was stakes-placed at 1200m before a spell, shorter sprints are more favourable.

This resuming mare has a perfect four-from-four fresh record and she arrives to this assignment off a quiet trial.

Shalaa's Moment is likely to let a fast speed go early and she's a key contender if they're running on late.

Race 3 - 12:18PM Magic Millions National Classic Tips (1600m)

Best: 4. Vibrant Sun. The 2024 Australasian Oaks winner is better placed under WFA conditions second-up.

First-up with 60kg, Vibrant Sun gave weight to all rivals and she should've finished closer (crowded at the 200m).

The extra 200m is ideal on Saturday and prior to the Dark Jewel Classic, she trialled superbly in two Sydney heats.

Value: 1. Lekvarte. This Joe Pride-trained galloper is always dangerous in these mares races and she arrives fresh.

Lekvarte is effective when sprinting off slower tempos, so she'll likely have this run to suit (there's not much speed).

She's won two Group races this season and the Lazzura form from April 1 is good reading for a race of this strength.

Race 4 - 12:53PM The Star Moreton Cup Tips (1200m)

Best: 13. A Little Deep. The gap between runs is no knock for A Little Deep, as she's at her best when kept fresh.

She was the pick of the on-speed brigade last start in the Robert Sangster Stakes and this is a better set-up.

After contesting a WFA sprint with 56.5kg, A Little Deep now has 53.5kg and gets weight off rivals in a race that's no stronger.
Value: 7. Warnie. He could be placed a little softer with his rating. although Warnie isn't exactly outclassed here.

His only time being out of the money in Australia came at Gosford, where he was within half a length of the winner.

Firmer ground is a plus for the Ciaron Maher-trained import and he was heavily backed ahead of his return.

Race 5 - 1:28PM U&U Recruitment Queensland Day Stakes Tips (1200m)

Best: 7. Velocious. This New Zealand visitor was a Group 1 winning two-year-old and she's won two races this season.

Velocious has four wins and third from six clockwise attempts, while she's five-from-six overall on good ground.

The daughter of Written Tycoon returned to winning form last start and this isn't a strong race for her Australian debut.

Value: 4. Hella Fast. He improved third-up after failing on heavy ground at the Gold Coast and blinkers now go on.

Hella Fast came from off the speed last start and recorded the fastest last 600m/400m and 200m of the race.

His two wins have come at Eagle Farm and after those early season victories, he was stakes-paced twice here.

Race 6 - 2:03PM Nuturf Spear Chief Handicap Tips (1500m)

Best: 6. Transatlantic. He had no prior first-up wins and in fast-run event, Transatlantic needed the hit-out fresh.

The four-year-old then covered ground in another fast-run race, where he stuck on fairly behind the Stradbroke fav.

Aside from some map concerns, Transatlantic has seemingly found his right race and he's got the platform to peak.

Value: 10. Bank Maur. Connections opted to geld Bank Maur after a frustrating prep earlier in the season.

The 2023 Alister Clark Stakes winner broke a drought in April when saluting first-up off the ultimate gear change.

Bank Maur was then a month between runs in the Scone Cup, where he wasn't disgraced and he'll strip fitter.

Race 7 - 2:38PM Eva Air Kingsford Smith Cup Tips (1300m)

Best: 11. Kimochi. She can be forgiven for her last start failure when third-up in the All Aged Stakes, as Kimochi pulled up lame in both the off-foreleg and near-hind leg.

The Gary Portelli-trained mare has been very honest over the journey and she recorded a much-deserved Group 1 win deep into her last campaign.

Kimochi beat a tidy field in that Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes triumph, with Another Wil, Southport Tycoon, Charm Stone, Jimmysstar and War Machine among the beaten brigade.

After catching the eye late over five furlongs on return, Kimochi was brave in the TJ Smith Stakes, where the four-year-old stuck on despite a wide run.

Next Best: 10. Joliestar. If you swap her run with Jimmysstar, then Joliestar arguably wins the All Aged Stakes and she's been kept on the fresh side for this assignment.

Sunshine In Paris and Antino (subsequent Group 1 winners) have both been produced from the All Aged Stakes, so she brings the best form for the Kingsford-Smith.

The Chris Waller-trained mare is often effective fresh (she was quiet in a recent trial) and after a lean patch, this stable has found some form this week.

The wet conditions would've hurt her chances last Saturday and the postponement suits Joliestar, who is more effective on firmer ground.

Race 8 - 3:13PM Seven Queensland Oaks Tips (2200m)

Best: 1. Benagil. She was well-held last start as a beaten fav in The Roses, but there were obvious excuses in that main lead-up event to the Queensland Oaks.

Benagil was a month between run on May 24 and runs never came when she needed them, with tired horses falling into her lap at key stages in the straight.

Prior to her Adelaide success, Benagil was runner-up behind a smart Treaurethe Moment and the form has already been franked from the Australasian Oaks.

She's now deep into the campaign, which is the main knock, but it has been somewhat spaced-out and Benagil is still the class runner of the field.
Next Best: 6. Jenni's Meadow. The Hayes yard have timed the prep perfectly with Jenni's Meadow, who will contest the Queensland Oaks fourth-up off a flashing light run in The Roses.

Jenni's Meadow has improved with every run this time in and after settling back from a wide draw, the three-year-old was hard to miss a fortnight ago.

With a Queensland run under the belt and with that last performance coming over 2000m, there's platform to progress further in this Group 1 assignment.

After drawing out in her last two outings, there's more options this time around for Jenni's Meadow, as Ethan Brown now has gate one at his disposal.

Value: 13. She's A Dealer. We have to respect the James & Wellwood stable, a New Zealand yard who had Australian success in recent years through Orchestral, Prowess and Mark Twain.

She's A Dealer briefly loomed as a threat in her Down Under debut at Randwick before She's Fly kicked clear and opened a margin on wet ground.

This filly wouldn't have been screwed down for that Sydney outing, where she was a month between runs after recording two victories in April..

Being by Ace High and out of a stakes-winning Pentire mare, She's A Dealer is bred to eat up the extra trip and she could spike in her first try at 2000m+.

Race 9 - 3:52PM Ladbrokes Queensland Derby Tips (2400m)

Best: 5. Beau Dazzler. He was terrific first-up in a fast-run Queensland Guineas and that fresh effort left the colt flat second-up when contesting the Group 3 Rough Habit Plate.

Beau Dazzler still wasn't disgraced in that key lead-up, where the youngster picked up a little late after looking well beaten and he clearly needed that run.

The Sears-trained galloper peaked third and fourth-up last campaign when completing a Grand Prix and Eagle Way double (both races at Eagle Farm).

His main rivals are mostly deep into their preps and they've also done plenty of travelling, whereas this Queenslander still has improvement to come.

Value: 3. Statuario. Arguably the most talented horse in this field is Statuario and the grey is looking to atone from a runner-up finish as fav in the South Australian Derby.

The winner of that 2500m Adelaide feature (Femminile) got the saloon passage and cashed in, while Statuario was left with too big of a task.

He was a stylish winner two starts back and that form through has stood up through both second and third, which includes Litzdeel (subsequent SA Fillies Classic winner).

It has been somewhat of a spaced out prep for Statuario, who was a month between runs in the South Australian Derby and he held form deep into his first campaign.

Race 10 - 4:28PM Magic Millions Helen Coughlan Stakes Tips (1200m)

Best: 2. Infancy. Infancy got the cash for us fresh at decent odds and she beat a handy Commemorative in the process.

She's now back against her own sex after not letting down as strongly on a Heavy 8, but it was still a solid effort.

Firmer ground is a plus for Infancy here and as in-form mare who finds a suitable race, she's a good price in the last.
Value: 1. Coeur Volante. Coeur Volante should've finished closer in this race last year, where she was in the market.

Her form is mixed on paper, however, she isn't as dynamic over 1500m+, with 1200m-1400m her right range.

Also, all four of her wins have come either first or second-up and she tapered off after a four-length romp in February.
