WATCH: Australian-trained winners at Royal Ascot
The article highlights the achievements of Australian-trained horses at Royal Ascot, beginning with Choisir's historic double victory in 2003. Several Australian contenders have since claimed titles, including Takeover Target in 2006, Miss Andretti in 2007, and most recently, Asfoora in the King Charles III Stakes in 2024. While other horses like Haradasun gained success overseas, many of the Royal Ascot winners were prepared by Aidan O'Brien. This legacy showcases Australia's significant impact in the international racing sphere.

It's worth noting that the King's Stand Stakes was renamed as the King Charles III Stakes (in 2023) to mark the King's 75th birthday.
