The first Group One of the 2022 Adelaide Autumn Carnival will be contested on Saturday, April 30 with the 41st running of the Australasian Oaks.
My Whisper (barrier 3) is unbeaten from four runs this campaign, which includes an Auraria Stakes victory on April 9, one of the key lead-up races for this filly's feature.
Jamie Kah will ride the daughter of Frankel for this 2000m assignment, having been aboard this three-year-old in both Sandown victories over March.
Chris Waller has trained two out of the last five Australasian Oaks winner, including Toffee Tongue in 2020, who was ridden by Damien Thornton.
This pair combine with Pretty Amazing (barrier 19), a winner of the Group Three Kembla Grange Classic on March 11.
2022 Australian Oaks winner El Patroness (barrier 8) has accepted and John Allen takes the ride due to Damian Lane's short-term contract in Japan.
Trainer Danny O'Brien also has Blackcomb (barrier 11), albeit she's the fourth emergency.
Last start Galilee Final winner Mamounia (barrier 20) will represent Godolphin in the 2022 Australasian Oaks and she'll be partnered by champion jockey Damien Oliver, who has won this race four times, with Princess Jenni (2019) the most recent.
Dual Group Three winner Daisies (barrier 17) will be looking to bounce back following a defeat as favourite in the Port Adelaide Guineas.
The daughter of Sebring won the Alexandra Stakes at Moonee Valley the start prior, a race which also included Bon's A Pearla (barrier 5), Douceur (barrier 15), Fortunate Kiss (barrier 4), So You See (barrier 10) and Ancient Girl (barrier 1).
