Sportsbet Issue Justice Refund On Moi Choux Bets
It was a tough watch for Moi Choux-backers at Sale on Tuesday when apprentice jockey Carleen Hefel dropped her right side rein as soon as the Richard Laming-trained gelding looked home in the straight.
Punters, alongside the team of experts at bets.com.au who placed the horse among the top chances on Tuesday, were left reeling after the horse got gobbled up in the final 50m in a shocking turn of events.
Like it or not, mistakes are all a part of the game and wagering giant Sportsbet have come to the party with a "Justice Refund" for those that backed Moi Choux in the fifth from Sale.
As the below footage shows, it was sick beat for those that backed the three-year-old (not so much for those that scooped up the $6.50 for Wilde Gem) who appeared to be bolting.
Spare a thought for 2kg claiming apprentice Carleen Hefel who shown her ability with thirty nine wins on the Victorian country racing circuit this season and like all us of do, innocently made an error.
