Ninja progressed from a debut third to win his next two starts in Sydney, before kicking off his summer campaign with a solid third in the Magic Millions Pierata Plate at Doomben on December 6, a race won by the promising Grafterburners.
The Michael Freedman-trained gelding relished the rise to 1300m at his latest start, coming from off the speed to record a comfortable victory in the Vo Rogue Plate on January 3.
That performance has seen Ninja firm again in the 2026 Magic Millions 3YO Guineas market, with the favourite quoted at $1.70 with Ladbrokes.
Icarian Dream ($8) is the only other runner in single figures and, while she has not saluted since defeating the talented Cool Archie 13 months ago, the daughter of Blue Point has been competitive of late with third-place finishes at her past two starts.
On the third line of betting at $13 are Memo and O’ Ole, the pair that filled the quinella in last year’s Magic Millions 2YO Classic.
