Following an impressive debut victory at Randwick, Warwoven justified an odds-on quote when successful at Eagle Farm on January 3, ticking the 1200m box in the process.
In the 2026 Magic Millions market with Unibet Australia, the Bjorn Baker-trained colt is an outright favourite, with Warwoven quoted at $2.20.
Gai Waterhouse has trained five winners of the Magic Millions 2YO Classic, with her first in partnership with Adrian Bott coming in 2024 when Storm Boy recorded a decisive 2.5-length victory.
Waterhouse and Bott also prepare Shiki ($8), a filly who captured the Group 3 Gimcrack Stakes on debut before resuming with a fourth-place finish behind Warwoven on December 20.
Shiki bounced back last Saturday with a strong victory at the Gold Coast, while Tornado Valley ($9) built on a third-place debut by scoring in the Group 3 Maribyrnong Plate at Flemington.
Tornado Valley then returned with a runner-up finish in the B.J. McLachlan Stakes, which was won by Zip Lock ($9).
