Outright early favourite Trekking has drawn barrier 11 for Saturday's Winterbottom Stakes.

The dual Group One-winning Godolphin gelding is no stranger to Perth with a fourth-placed finish in the 2019 Winterbottom as a beaten favourite and has the services of "The Wizard" William Pike for the November 28 feature and Pike was aboard for a soft trial win at Belmont on November 23.

Trekking is currently $2.50 with bet365 for the 2020 Winterbottom Stakes.

Indian Pacific is one of the more fancied locals and third-up for his target assignment, will jump from gate four.

This tough front-runner will be partnered by Brad Parnham in this four-year-old's first Group One attempt and the other Neville Parnham-trained galloper Malibu Style has barrier six.

Trainer Simon Miller has dual representation with Valour Road (barrier three) and Flirtini (barrier 17) who caught the eye when flashing home in the 2019 Winterbtoom Stakes.

The Chris & Michael Gangemi yard have three runners accepted for the 2020 Winterbottom Stakes in Rock Magic (barrier two), Durendal (barrier one) and first emergency Condor Heroes (barrier seven).
