• Zheng still searching for her best tennis since returning from injury - this won't be an easy match
• Zheng has seen Over 20.5 games in 12 of her last 15 matches dating back to last year
• Chawalinska came through three qualifying matches without dropping a set & won a Challenger on clay in the lead-up - she's in great form and can make this competitive

Raphael Collignon vs Aleksandar Vukic Tips

• Collignon is on fire and I think he's set for a big tournament here and possible upset of Shelton in R2
• But before that, he must make it past Vukic - which I think he'll do easily
• Out of Collignon's 25 match wins at all levels in 2026, a remarkable 24 have come in straight sets - when he wins, he does so comfortably
• Vukic isn't a clay courter - eight of his last 13 defeats on the surface have come in straight sets, including two of his three RG opening rounds

• Let's go for some value and an epic win for Monfils in his last ever French Open
• Gaston is there for the taking - he's 0-4 at tour-level in 2026 and can produce some shockers
• In saying that, Monfils is clearly well below his best right now, going 3-6 for the year

• Don't mind Wawrinka as an underdog here - he made R3 of the AO earlier this year and the former French Open champion will be motivated for one last win at this tournament
• Wawrinka is still fit and can lift for one match - he won a five-setter at this year's AO in 4+ hours
• De Jong has been shocking form all year, going 1-8 at tour-level, with the one win coming vs a player outside the top 250
• De Jong won just three games vs Borges in Rome & lost in qualifying to Michael Zheng, only gaining entry into the main draw as a lucky loser
