Relocated from New York, the current version of the Dallas Open was first held in 2022, with the tournament held on indoor hardcourts at the Ford Centre at the Star.
From 2025, the tournament was upgraded to an ATP 500 tournament in a bid to attract some more leading players for the February North American swing.
A total of 32 players compete in the singles draw, while 16 doubles pairings will also be in action.
Giant-serving Reilly Opelka won the first edition of the Dallas Open in 2022, while Yibing Wu of China emerged triumphant in 2023.
Denis Shapovalov is the defending champion after becoming the first player since 2019 to win an ATP 500 title while beating three top 10 players along the way.
