Established in 1974, the ABN AMRO Open is staged at the Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The tournament takes place on indoor hardcourts, with the singles draw consisting of 32 players and doubles with 16 pairs.
It's traditionally the first ATP 500 tournament of the year, which means the best players in the world are consistently heading to Rotterdam in early February.
Former Dutch player Richard Krajicek is the tournament director - he is also a two-time champion at the event.
Roger Federer holds the record for most Rotterdam titles with three, while other previous champions of the tournament include Arthur Ashe, Jimmy Connors, Stefan Edberg, Lleyton Hewitt, Andy Murray, Stan Wawrinka and Jannik Sinner, who won the 2024 edition.
Carlos Alcaraz joined the illustrious list after beating Alex de Minaur in the 2025 final.
