The 2024 Moselle Open in Metz takes place between November 3-9 and represents one last chance for players hoping to qualify for the ATP Finals, along with pick up a tour-level title before the end of the year.

Andrey Rublev and Casper Ruud are among the top seeds in Metz battling it out for a place at the prestigious season-ending ATP Finals.

ATP Metz Outright Winner Tip

Odds from Picklebet. Correct from 4/11/24.

Keen to oppose the big guns in Metz.

Rublev and Ruud might easily not have any incentive to hang around in Metz by midway through the tournament depending on other results and ATP Finals implications.

Ugo Humbert is coming off a long week in Paris and was battling back pain, while Grigor Dimitrov's motivation levels could be quite low after his ATP Finals hopes went out the window last week.

With this in mind, Roberto Bautista Agut could be a solid option at $17 with Picklebet. Bautista Agut has recently returned from injury and won the Antwerp title indoors a few weeks ago, backing it up by beating Ruud in Basel the following week.

Having missed Paris last week, Bautista Agut is well-rested and he will be looking to make up for lost time this season, as well as maintaining his form for the Davis Cup with Spain.

Bautista Agut is 8-1 indoors since the US Open and looks worth the punt in a very open field.

ATP Metz Overview

ATP Metz, or the Moselle Open as its otherwise known, is one of the last ATP Tour events of the calendar year and the fourth ATP 250 tournament held in France throughout the season.

Currently staged immediately after the Paris Masters, the Moselle Open gives ATP Finals hopefuls one last chance to accumulate valuable ranking points in the Race to the season-ending championships.

The tournament is staged indoors at the Arenes de Metz complex and features a singles draw of 32 players and doubles field of 16 pairs.

Frenchman Arnaud Clement won the first edition of ATP Metz in 2003, with compatriots Jahrome Haehnel, Gael Monfils, Gilles Simon, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Lucas Pouille and Ugo Humbert joining the honour roll.

Humbert is the defending champion after defeating Alexander Shevchenko in the 2023 final.

ATP Metz 2024 Player Entry List

Andrey Rublev and Casper Ruud are the top seeds, with both players looking to confirm their spots at the ATP Finals.
Rublev is currently in ninth place in the Race to Turin and needs to out-perform either Ruud or Alex de MInaur (who is playing in Belgrade) this week to climb into the top eight.

Grigor Dimitrov is seeded third, but crashed out of ATP Finals contention last week, while defending champion Ugo Humbert is coming off a final at the Paris Masters.

Pedro Martinez, Alex Michelsen and Jan-Lennard Struff round out the seeds.
