Mackinnon Stakes 2020 Barrier Draw & Final Field

10 runners have accepted for the Group One Mackinnon Stakes for November 7 which sees some differing form lines come together and includes two entrants from the Cox Plate in Arcadia Queen (barrier five) and Mugatoo (barrier nine).
Melody Belle (barrier six) failed in a short early spring campaign in Sydney but returned to New Zealand to record back-to-back victories and has the services of 2020 Melbourne Cup winning jockey Jye McNeil.
The daughter of Commands was unlucky not to win the 2019 Mackinnon Stakes following a dominant Empire Rose Stakes win on the opening day of the carnival.
Harlem (barrier one) and Fifty Stars (barrier eight) represent the Dabernig & Hayes stable whilst Busuttin & Young also have two acceptances in Mirage Dancer (barrier seven) and Skyward (barrier four).
