Alex Bolton is an exciting prospect and Kristian Popovic could prove a smart pickup, but the Mariners have lost considerable experience and depth. There is plenty of upside in their recruitment, although much will depend on young players making an immediate impact at senior level. |
| Macarthur FC | A | Perhaps the most eye-catching window of any club. Musa Toure, Apostolos Stamatelopoulos, Ryan Fraser, Kosta Grozos and Ben Gibson headline an extensive recruitment drive. Losing Mitchell Duke, Anthony Caceres, Filip Kurto and several experienced players was significant, but Macarthur have responded with proven A-League performers and attacking quality. This looks like a major squad reset rather than a simple refresh. |
