Asian Champions League Tips, Predictions & Live Streaming
The Asian Champions League is the premier continental soccer competition in Asia, featuring the AFC Champions League Elite and AFC Champions League 2.
Australian teams feature in both competitions, with Western Sydney Wanderers famously going all the way in 2014 under the guidance of current Socceroos manager Tony Popovic. Central Coast Mariners also emerged triumphant in the AFC Champions League 2 in 2023/24.
Ange Postecoglou will also be involved in the 2026 AFC Champions League Elite after recently taking charge of Saudi Arabian giants Al Nassr, which boasts superstar players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Joao Felix, Sadio Mane and Kingsley Coman.
A-League minor premiers Newcastle Jets will compete in the 2026 AFC Champions League Elite, with Adelaide United hoping to join them as they battle it out in the qualifying rounds.

Asian Champions League Teams & Fixtures Schedule
AFC Champions League Elite
The AFC Champions League Elite and AFC Champions League 2 has expanded to 32 teams for the first time in 2026-27, replicating the format of the UEFA Champions League/Europa League and switching to a league phase.
Under the expanded format, the competition will continue to be divided geographically between the West and East regions, with 16 clubs in each section. Teams will compete in a league stage against opponents from their own region, with the highest-ranked clubs progressing to the knockout rounds. The expansion gives more associations access to Asia’s premier club tournament while creating a tougher qualification route into the latter stages.
The knockout phase will remain regionally separated initially before the surviving West and East clubs come together later in the competition. The final stages will culminate in a centralised tournament featuring the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
