Zaaki is the banner horse heading into the Mackinnon Stakes after a late scratching from the Cox Plate on race morning, sending the race into diserray.
He had a strong grip of that market and now a tighter hold here in a weaker event where he jumps from barrier eight.
Empire Rose Stakes winner Colette will jump from barrier four while Cantala Stakes winner Superstorm will need to jump from the outside, barrier 10.
Cox Plate fourth place getter Mo'unga has drawn barrier five while Hungry Heart looks ready for 2000m, jumping from gate seven.
Cascadian was not far away in the Cantala Stakes where he only just went down, but does draw a touch awkward in gate two, while Epsom Handicap winner Private Eye (barrier nine) makes his way down from Sydney after contesting the Golden Eagle last start.
A final field of 10 has been assembled for the 2021 Mackinnon Stakes.
