The banner horse of the whole program, Nature Strip will face just eight rivals in the VRC Sprint Classic after taking out The Everest last start. He will jump from barrier two in an attempt to win his second VRC Sprint.
Bella Nipotina (barrier six) was runner-up in the Manikato Stakes last start and has to be given some sort of place chance while three-year-olds Ranch Hand (barrier seven) and Shaquero (barrier eight) add interest to the event.
Splintex (barrier five) has a good straight track record while September Run (barrier four) would be a danger is she had found some better form this time around.
