The 2022 Makybe Diva Stakes is a strong edition, with a number of spring contenders continuing their campaigns over the Flemington mile.
I'm Thunderstruck (barrier one) was the eye-catcher in the Memsie Stakes, running second to Snapdancer, but looks much better suited getting to Flemington and stepping up to the mile.
The last time he saw this track and trip, he ran a flashing second to Zaaki in the All-Star Mile earlier this year.
Western Empire (barrier five) jumped as one of the favourites in the Memsie Stakes, but did look in need of the run and should be ideally suited getting to the mile second-up.
Cascadian (barrier seven) rocketed home into third position first-up in the Memsie Stakes, and we know that he is a proper Group One WFA horse.
Alligator Blood (barrier two) had little luck in the Memsie, while Regal Power (barrier three) is en-route to the Caulfield Cup later on this prep.
