Queen Of The Turf Stakes 2025 Betting Tips - Will Fangirl record a fourth Group 1 win?
The 2025 Queen Of The Turf Stakes, also known as the Coolmore Legacy Stakes, is a weight-for-age race for fillies and mares that holds a prestigious Group 1 status. Key contenders include Fangirl, listed as the favorite at $1.90, followed by Amelia's Jewel and Coeur Volante as viable picks for each way betting. Chris Waller aims for a consecutive hat-trick, banking on Fangirl's impressive track record at Randwick. However, increased competition may affect her performance deeper into the campaign.

2025 Queen Of The Turf Stakes Tips
2025 Queen Of The Turf Stakes Best Bet - Fangirl
Chris Waller has prepared the last two winners of the Queen of the Turf Stakes and he's got a strong hand for the hat-trick bid, with Fangirl, Atishu and Lazzura his three representatives.
Fangirl is the one to beat, especially if the track doesn't get testing (forecast looks okay) and the six-year-old is looking to bounce back after covering ground in the George Ryder Stakes.
A return to Randwick suits the daughter of Sebring, as seven of her 10 career victories have come at this track and two of her Group 1 triumphs have been recorded over the Randwick mile.
The main knock is that Fangirl is now deeper into the campaign, as she tends to very dynamic early in a prep, but her last fourth-up attempt resulted in a third via the Group 1 Champions Mile.
2025 Queen Of The Turf Stakes Next Best Bet - Amelia's Jewel
I don't mind the little gap between runs for Amelia's Jewel, who is better suited here at WFA level after giving weight to all of her rivals when contesting the Coolmore Classic second-up.
While she broke a decent drought first-up on March 1, that Guy Walter Stakes was slowly run and she dictated, so perhaps that set-up left her vulnerable for a fast-run event last time.
Also, she was in the worst ground via that March 15 program from Rosehill, and no rivals inside and/or behind of Amelia's Jewel went close to going past her in that 1500m feature.
While Fangirl turned the tables in Melbourne, Amelia's Jewel beat Fangirl home via their last clash over this track/trip and the five-year-old was third-up in that King Charles III Stakes tilt.
2025 Queen Of The Turf Stakes Value Bet - Coeur Volante
Blinkers going on for the Mannerism Stakes sparked the four-year-old up, with the daughter of Proisir recording a dominant four-length win at Caulfield before heading to Sydney.
That performance warranted a Coolmore Classic shot and while she was well beaten in that 1500m Group 1, it's worth noting that she was in the quicksand (inside) on that card.
March 15 was also a very warm day and the Victorian was worked up pre-race as a result, but her Emancipation Stakes effort suggests that Coeur Volante could be back on track.
She was held-up from the 400m to the 200m of that Rosehill Group 2 and once clear, Coeur Volante picked up quite well on the rails (second-fastest last 200m of the race).
