The 2022 Underwood Stakes market has been released with Realbookie, run over 1800m at Sandown at Group One level.
Last year's winner Zaaki ($1.95) avoid the George Main Stakes (1600m) against Anamoe on Saturday to tackle this 1800m at the big course of Sandown which looks ideal.
This is no easy picking for him though, as he does tackle Makybe Diva Stakes winner I'm Thunderstruck ($3.20) who has been in tremendous form this prep and looks to have taken the next step to become a WFA star.
Mr Brightside ($4.80) has won the PB Lawrence and Feehan Stakes this prep in great fashion, and having beaten I'm Thunderstruck in a Doncaster, he has to be taken seriously.
Alligator Blood ($9) is the last of the single figure chances, leading everywhere bar the post in the Makybe Diva Stakes - but does he run further than a mile?

Underwood Stakes History
The Underwood Stakes is favourite event of the punters as the Melbourne Spring Carnival approaches.
