Popular early favourite Mugatoo has drawn barrier seven for Saturday's Group One Metropolitan at Royal Randwick.
The six-year-old drops 2kg off his dominant last start Newcastle Cup win (2300m) and he headlines a total of four runners from the Kris Lees stable that have accepted for this $750,000 feature.
They also include 58kg top weight Mustajeer (barrier five), Raheen House (barrier 12) and second emergency Attention Run (barrier one).
Mugatoo is currently the outright market elect at $3.60 with Sportsbetting.com.au for the 2020 Metropolitan.
Shared Ambition is the second favourite at $7 even with Tuesday's barrier draw as he will now have to overcome gate 19 under James McDonald.
The Chris Waller-trained import will carry 53.5kg over this 2400m contest and arrives off a second placing in the Kingston Town Stakes on September 19.
A pair of recent Melbourne runners in Lord Belvedere (barrier 10) and Busuttin & Young-trained Mirage Dancer (barrier three) are also among the acceptances for The Metropolitan on October 3.
