Registered as the Queen Of The Turf Stakes since its introduction in 1972, this weight-for-age feature for fillies and mares was elevated to Group 1 status in 2005.
Also known as the Coolmore Legacy Stakes since 2016, it remains one of the premier autumn targets for elite female gallopers, with modern champions such as Typhoon Tracy and More Joyous featuring on the honour roll.

After a Memsie Stakes demolition in a strong field when resuming in the spring, Treasurethe Moment never fully recovered from a slight setback following that Caulfield performance.
Her form still remained consistent on paper, with the biggest defeat coming on Heavy ground in the Champions Mile before a spell.
She went down as an odds-on favourite in the Futurity Stakes first-up on February 21.
That was still a solid effort, but she found a much-needed confidence booster when back in grade against her own sex in the Sunline Stakes with a soft two-length win on March 21.
