Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Bublik Tips, Prediction & Live Stream
World No. 1 Jannik Sinner continues his US Open title defence when he comes up against the surging and unpredictable Alexander Bublik in the fourth round in a big primetime showdown on Monday night.

Bublik is probably one of two players in the world right now (the other of course being Carlos Alcaraz) that is capable of beating Sinner - he did it on the grass of Halle just before Wimbledon, but repeating that effort over the course of five sets at a Grand Slam is an entirely different prospect. Nevertheless, I'm giving Bublik a chance at doing some damage under the lights on Arthur Ashe Stadium.
The Kazakh is on fire, winning 25 of his last 27 matches at all levels and advancing into the US Open fourth round without dropping serve, holding 55 consecutive times. Sinner meanwhile was in big trouble against Denis Shapovalov in the previous round, dropping the opening set and being one point away from a 0-4 deficit in the third before digging out the win in four. Sinner was also down two sets to Grigor Dimitrov in the R16 of Wimbledon before the Bulgarian suffered a season-ending injury. I don't think Bublik has the consistency or mental capacity to hang with Sinner for the necessary amount of time over five sets, but on current form, he's more than capable of taking a set before fading.
Head To Head
Sinner leads 4-2, including winning their French Open quarter-final this year in straights. However, Bublik emerged triumphant in their most-recent clash, prevailing by a 3-6 6-3 6-4 score in the second round of Halle just before Wimbledon.
Jannik Sinner Form
Sinner heads into this contest with a 34-4 record on the season, remaining World No. 1 despite missing three months of the year through suspension.
The Italian has added two more Grand Slam titles to his collection at the Australian Open and Wimbledon this year - but those are his only two pieces of silverware so far in 2025.
Sinner went down to Carlos Alcaraz in finals at Rome, Roland Garros and Cincinnati and is on track to face his great rival in the US Open final here.
The 24-year-old was untroubled in his opening two rounds against Vit Kopriva and Alexei Popyrin, but found himself in a sticky situation in R3 against Denis Shapovalov.
Sinner lost the opening set and was one point away from going down 0-4 in the third set before turning things around and completing a 5-7, 6-4, 6-3, 6-3 victory, winning 12 of the last 15 games to make it 24 consecutive victories in hardcourt Grand Slams.
Alexander Bublik Form
Bublik comes into this encounter with a 27-15 record at tour-level for the season, with almost all of those wins coming in the last few months.
The 28-year-old was all over the place and close to dropping out of the top 100 after a terrible start to the year, but he's turned things around in sensational fashion.
Indeed, Bublik has won 25 of his last 27 matches at all levels, including winning three ATP titles in Halle, Gstaad and Kitzbühel, along with reaching his maiden Grand Slam quarter-final at Roland Garros, where he defeated Alex de Minaur and Jack Draper along the way.
Bublik opted not to play any warm-up tournaments on hardcourt at the US Open, but that hasn't disrupted his momentum whatsoever. The Kazakh has extended his winning streak to 11 matches, cruising past Marin Cilic and Tristan Schoolkate in straight sets before knocking out 14th seed Tommy Paul in five, 7-6(5), 6-7(4), 6-3, 6-7(5), 6-1 in a match that finished after 1am.
Bublik hasn't dropped serve all tournament, holding on 55 consecutive occasions.

Verdict
Bublik is on fire, winning his last 11 matches, holding every single one of his service games this US Open and beating Sinner in their most-recent meeting.
On current form, Bublik can take a set, but Sinner over the course of a Grand Slam match should be able to subdue him.
