Swiatek has been in ruthless form this tournament and has barely dropped games across her last three rounds, while Navarro has become the first woman since Jelena Dokic since 2009 to win four consecutive three-set matches to reach the quarter-finals in Melbourne. After making the third round in Melbourne on her debut appearance last year, Navarro is hoping to become the youngest American woman since Venus Williams in 1999 to win seven of their first eight matches at the Australian Open.

Verdict
Navarro is as tough as they come, but I think her run comes to an end here - most likely in emphatic fashion if Swiatek maintains her current level.
Navarro has the ability to outlast the majority of opponents on tour, but Swiatek is on another level in this sort of form.
Dropping four games in her last three matches, Swiatek is playing some incredible tennis and I'm backing her for another convincing victory here to improve her Grand Slam quarter-final record to 7-3.
