Since that victory, he has won a Rosehill trial before completing a quiet straight jump-out at Flemington, rounding out his preparation ahead of the Coolmore.

Beiwacht heads the 2025 Coolmore Stud Stakes market at $3.20 with Unibet Australia.

Tentyris ($3.40) came from well back in the field to win the Gothic Stakes at Caulfield, running over the top of his rivals in the closing stages. The Anthony and Sam Freedman-trained colt again demonstrated his strong turn of foot and consistency through this campaign.

A three-time stakes winner, he has built a solid record around 1200m and is building nicely for this third-up assignment.

Beadman ($3.80) opened his campaign with a third placing before finishing second in the Roman Consul Stakes, where he was held up at key stages before getting clear late. The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained colt has raced consistently against good opposition through each start this prep.

Last preparation, he won the Ken Russell Memorial Classic at the Gold Coast by more than eight lengths. He also worked home well when finishing second in a Flemington jump-out on October 11.

One of the highlights on the opening day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival is the Coolmore Stud Stakes.

This three-year-old Group 1 is one of the key stallion-making races in Australia, with Encosta De Lago Zoustar. Brazen Beau and Merchant Navy among the past winners who have had success at stud, although six fillies have won this feature in the last 20 years.

The Coolmore Stud Stakes is worth $2 million and this 1200m sprint runs alongside the Victoria Derby and Empire Rose Stakes as the Group 1 features on Derby Day.
