The best two-year-old in Australia last season was Fireburn (barrier 9) and the Gary Portelli-trained filly now shares Flight Stakes favouritism with Zougotcha (barrier two).
Prepared by Chris Waller, Zougotcha has won the two traditional lead-up events, taking out the Silver Shadow over 1200m, before a Tea Rose Stakes triumph over seven furlongs.
She'll be stepping to 1600m for ther first time in the Flight Stakes.
Wolverine (barrier one) was the big eye-catcher in the Tea Rose Stakes and does look set to peak now over a mile.
This daughter of the Tivaci won twice at Group 2 level in New Zealand and now under the care of Kris Lees, she draws an inside alley for the first time in Australia.
She's Extreme (barrier 5) is another set to back-up from the Golden Rose and is proven over the distance, having won the Group 1 Champagne Stakes over this track and trip last season.
North Star Lass (barrier 8) is an honest filly from the Waterhouse & Bott yard that does handle rain affected ground, while Tea Rose Stakes runner-up Madame Pommery (barrier 6) is the second of the Chris Waller acceptors.
10 runners make up the final field for the 2022 Flight Stakes, which is the first of three Group 1's on the October 1 card from Randwick.
