Novak Djokovic is set to face Flavio Cobolli in the Wimbledon quarter-finals as he pursues an eighth title at the prestigious tournament. Djokovic, who has only lost four times to lower-ranked players at Wimbledon, is the firm favorite. Despite Cobolli's impressive form and recent ATP titles, this match marks his first Grand Slam quarter-final and a significant increase in competition level. Djokovic is expected to excel, given his momentum and experience. Tennis enthusiasts can watch the match live via Unibet's streaming services.

Djokovic's best chance for an elusive 25th Grand Slam title appears to be at Wimbledon, where he hasn't lost to anyone apart from Carlos Alcaraz since 2017. The Serbian has been playing his best and most consistent tennis of the season since capturing his 100th career title in Geneva and now stands as the firm favourite to advance into a 14th Wimbledon semi-final. Indeed, Djokovic has a 74-4 record against players ranked outside the top 20 at Wimbledon, while Cobolli is yet to defeat a top 10 player in his career and will need to overcome a daunting 0-11 record in such matches to continue his dream tournament.

Cobolli is in career-best form, no doubt, but this is a major step up for the Italian, who has never played on Centre Court before. By contrast, it's Djokovic's second home and he will be keen for a ruthless start after his shaky opening in windy conditions against Alex de Minaur in the R16. I'm confident Djokovic gets this done in straights.

Head To Head

This will be the first career meeting between the pair.

Novak Djokovic Form

Djokovic enters this clash with a 25-8 record on the season, but has picked things up to win 13 of his last 14 matches.

The 24-time major champion had lost three matches on the trot heading into Geneva, but Djokovic lifted to secure his 100th career title, taking that momentum into Roland Garros, where he defeated Alexander Zverev to reach the semi-finals.

Opting not to play a lead-in tournament on grass, Djokovic has largely cruised into the quarter-finals - although he has dropped a set against both Alexandre Muller in his opening round and Alex de Minaur in the R16.

In between, Djokovic dismantled Dan Evans and Miomir Kecmanovic in straights. The 38-year-old struggled with the blustery conditions against De Minaur, dropping the first set 1-6 and coming back from 1-4 down in the fourth to prevail 1-6, 6-4 6-4 6-4.

Flavio Cobolli Form

It was looking like it was going to be a case of second-year syndrome for Cobolli as he failed to win a main draw match at tour-level until April.

How the tables have turned. Cobolli has since won two ATP titles in Bucharest and Hamburg, along with a third round finish at the French Open before reaching his maiden Grand Slam quarter-final at Wimbledon.

Cobolli, who is set to debut in the top 20 after this tournament, didn't drop a set across his first three rounds, easing past Beibit Zhukayev, Jack Pinnington Jones and Jakub Mensik.

The Italian then battled past former Wimbledon finalist Marin Cilic in the R16, prevailing 6-4, 6-4, 6-7(4), 7-6(3).

Verdict

Cobolli has enjoyed a relatively easy draw up until this point, but now he faces the GOAT. Cobolli is 0-11 vs top 10 players in his career and Djokovic is 74-4 vs players outside the top 20 at Wimbledon.
