Alcaraz brings a 22-match winning streak into this showdown and is aiming to become just the second man after Bjorn Borg to win the Roland Garros-Wimbledon double in consecutive years. Alcaraz is also on an 18-match winning streak at Wimbledon having toppled Novak Djokovic in back-to-back finals in 2023/24. The Spaniard is making a habit of dominating the European summer on clay/grass and he is looking good to keep his title defence rolling into the semi-finals.

However, for all his winning, Alcaraz rarely does things the easy way - especially at the slams. Indeed, Alcaraz has dropped at least one set in eight of his last 10 Grand Slam matches, including in three of his four outings this tournament. Norrie is a tricky, unassuming and unorthodox player - his game compliments the grass and the Brit has beaten Alcaraz twice before. He can snatch a set in defeat here.

Head To Head

Alcaraz leads 4-2, but Norrie has won two of the last three meetings - including a most-recent 57 64 75 victory in the final of Rio on clay in 2023.

Carlos Alcaraz Form

Alcaraz is putting together another remarkable season and currently has a 46-5 match record in 2025, highlighted by five more titles.

It wasn't the greatest start to the season by Alcaraz's lofty standards, but as he did last year, he's dominating the European summer across clay and grass.

Alcaraz has made the final in his last five consecutive tournaments, winning four of them at Monte Carlo, Rome, Roland Garros and Queen's Club.

Once again, Alcaraz isn't blitzing his opponents in a Grand Slam, but raising his level accordingly when he needs to. The World No. 2 edged out veteran Fabio Fognini in five sets in the opening round before taking care of qualifier Oliver Tarvet in straights.

The Spaniard then needed four sets to dispatch Jan-Lennard Struff and Andrey Rublev to reach his 12th Grand Slam quarter-final, becoming the youngest player in the Open Era at the age of 22 to make that many.

Cameron Norrie Form

Norrie had been struggling for the last couple of years and came into Geneva just before the French Open with a negative 10-11 record on the season and in danger of tumbling out of the top 100.

However, Norrie has since won 10 of his last 14 matches, making the R16 at Roland Garros and now advancing into his second Wimbledon quarter-final, becoming just the fourth British man in the Open Era to reach the last eight at SW19 on multiple occasions.

The former World No. 8 is now back up to No. 43 in the live ATP rankings after this stellar Wimbledon run, which has included victories over Roberto Bautista Agut and Frances Tiafoe.

Norrie needed five sets and over four hours to take down qualifier Nicolas Jarry in the R16, withstanding a whopping 103 winners from his opponent.

Verdict

Norrie has taken at least one set in his last four meetings with Alcaraz, with the Spaniard also dropping at least one set in eight of his last 10 Grand Slam matches.

You'd think Alcaraz would be set for more routine slam wins, but it just doesn't happen, so backing Norrie to extend this clash Over 31.5 total games and to snatch a set.
