Perth are tipped to prevail in this matchup after dropping their most recent game at home against the Thunder on the very last ball of the game.

The Scorchers are and have been one of the strongest team’s on their home field for a number of years. They are 2-1 this season and have won 14 of their last 18 played at home. It is expected to be clear skies and 24 degrees when the bat is flipped on Tuesday night.

The first of two Melbourne derbies played out on Saturday with the Rengades failing to restrict the Stars to a low total losing the game by 5 wickets with 2 balls remaining.

The Renegade openers once again had a poor day at the office, Josh Brown went for 6 while Jake Fraser-McGurk managed just 12. Fraser-McGurk is averaging just 11 runs this BBL campaign with a top score of 26. Jacob Bethell and Jonathan Wells steadied the ship for Melbourne batting at 4th and 5th both scoring 45+ runs.

Gurinder Sandhu was called in for his first game as a Renegade picking up 3 wickets with the ball for just 29 runs off 4 overs. Tom Rogers was the only other bowler to take a wicket with the reliable Will Sutherland now going without in his last 2 games after taking 7 in his first 4 of the season.
