US Open Women's Outright Tips & Predictions
Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff stand out as the leading contenders for the 2026 US Open title, while Elina Svitolina's consistency means she is always a solid bet to go deep at the majors. Rising teenage star Ivo Jovic will have the crowd behind her and can build on some promising runs at the three previous slams this year.
It's another wide open women's field at a major, with various players a legitimate chance of going all the way.
I am keen to fade World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, who hasn't won a title of any description since March and hasn't been beyond the R16 at her last three tournaments at Wimbledon, Canada and Cincinnati.

Who Will Win The Women's 2026 US Open Title?
Iga Swiatek - $6.00 with Picklebet

There may be a touch of recency bias, but Swiatek's resurgence in Toronto was impossible to ignore. The former world No. 1 rediscovered her trademark dominance, capturing her first title of the season with commanding victories over Marta Kostyuk, Diana Shnaider, Elina Svitolina and Elena Rybakina.
More impressive than the title itself was the way she won it. Swiatek claimed eight sets by scores of 6-2 or better, producing the relentless, suffocating tennis that defined her peak years and overwhelmed opponents on a regular basis.
The Pole has an excellent record at Flushing Meadows, lifting the US Open trophy in 2022 before reaching the quarter-finals in each of the last two editions despite not playing her best tennis. With her confidence restored and her game clicking again, Swiatek heads to New York having won 10 of her last 11 matches following a Cincinnati semi-final run and arguably the player to beat.
Coco Gauff - $7.00 with Picklebet

It was a challenging start to the season for Gauff, but she's hitting her best form at an opportune time for her home Grand Slam.
Gauff arrives at the US Open on the back of 15 wins from her last 17 matches, making the semi-finals of Wimbledon and Toronto before surging to her first title of the year in Cincinnati, where she beat Jess Pegula and Marta Kostyuk along the way.
Still just 22 years of age, Gauff of course has prior experience of winning this title when she did so as a teenager three years ago, while her supreme athleticism and ability to grind down opponents while not playing her best tennis holds her in good stead for the vicious heat and humidity in New York. Nobody is more confident heading to the US Open than Gauff and it will take a big performance to stop her.
Elina Svitolina - $34 with Picklebet

Svitolina's consistency makes her one of the standout contenders to lift the title in New York.
No player on tour has won more matches than the Ukrainian this season, with 42 victories overall, including 26 on hard courts. Her impressive campaign features a title in Auckland, a runner-up finish in Dubai and semi-final appearances at the Australian Open, Indian Wells and Toronto.
The former US Open semi-finalist also gave Swiatek her toughest test in Toronto, bouncing back to take the second set before eventually falling 6-3, 1-6, 6-3.
Svitolina is one of the safest players to back deep into a tournament because of her remarkable consistency. She owns a 22-3 record against lower-ranked opponents on hard courts this season, making her an excellent value proposition at $34 to make another serious run at Flushing Meadows.
Iva Jovic - $67 with Picklebet

- Best US Open Result: Round 2 (2024-25)
Jovic shapes as one of the genuine dark horses in the women's draw.
The 18-year-old has already shown she can perform on the biggest stage, reaching the Australian Open quarter-finals and the fourth round at Wimbledon earlier this season. With another few months of experience behind her and the backing of a home crowd in New York, she's well placed to take another step forward.
A favourable draw could see Jovic make a deep run into the second week, and her current odds of $67 could shorten rapidly if she makes it through a couple of early rounds. Jovic has won two of her last three matches vs top 20 players, while her last four defeats to players in that bracket have gone to a deciding set. She won't go down without a fight.
