A strong eastern brigade has travelled west, with Robert Heathcote, James Cummings, Leon & Troy Corstens and Will Clarken all accepting with runners in the 2022 Winterbottom Stakes, while jockeys Damien Oliver, Jamie Kah, Ben Melham and Todd Pannell also venture to Perth for Saturday's bumper Ascot card.
Godolphin has dual representation through Paulele (barrier 16) and the in-form Vilana (barrier 12), with the latter having won two of three starts this spring, including a last start Hunter triumph.
The son of Hallowed Crown finished midfield in his only Group 1 attempt to date via this year's Stradbroke Handicap, whereas Paulele has placed three time at this level.
Rob Heathcote is no stranger to the Winterbottom Stakes, having won this feature twice with champion sprinter Buffering, and the Queensland trainer saddles up early favourite Rothfire (barrier 3), who arrives of a 1.2 length defeat in the Champions Sprint.
The Astrologist (barrier 2) and Beau Rossa (barrier 8) round out the visiting acceptances.
Leading the way among the locals is 2020 Winterbottom Stakes winner Elite Street (barrier 7), with the six-year-old suffering a bleed in last year's edition when finishing third as favourite.
The son of Street Boss is expected to improve off a fourth-place first-up finish in the Colonel Reeves Stakes, which he did contest off no lead-up trials.
Daniel Morton also prepares Kissonallforcheeks (barrier 14), who returns to Western Australia after spending the spring under Nick Ryan, who trained her to win the Group 2 Let's Elope Stakes second-up.
Owner Bob Peters is aiming for back-to-back victories in this sprint feature, with Stageman (barrier 5) his sole runner, a gelding that finished second behind Graceful Girl in last year's edition
In-form Western Australian mares This'll Testya (barrier 9), Miss Conteki (barrier 13) and Sniparoochy (barrier 1) have accepted, while unbeaten filly My Bella Mae (barrier 10) is the only three-year-old in the line up.
A capacity line-up of 16 (and one emergency) make up the final field for the 2022 Winterbottom Stakes.
