Bendigo Best Bet - Race 2 No. 5 The Cable Guy

The son of So You Think gained plenty of jump-out experience prior to making his debut at this venue last month.

Racing over 1500m on a Soft track, the gelding produced a good effort to finish second behind the more experienced Oyster Lane.

He travelled prominently for much of that contest despite jumping from a wide barrier, suggesting there was plenty of merit in the performance.

The form has already stacked up, with the third-place finisher winning at Echuca and the ninth saluting on Ballarat's synthetic track on Thursday.

The Cable Guy is again expected to race on speed, with barrier four a positive on the forecast Heavy 10 surface, and he looks capable of going one better.

Bendigo Roughie - Race 5 No. 19 Friendzoned

Friendzoned has produced several solid performances since breaking her maiden at Donald in May last year.

Resuming over 1170m at Wangaratta last month, the mare finished a respectable third, beaten three lengths.

The Heavy track appeared to suit that day, with the daughter of Street Boss now recording top-three finishes in both starts on Heavy going.

She should strip fitter after that first-up effort, having not raced since October despite several jump-out appearances leading into the campaign.

The wide draw is a query, although she's performed well from double-figure barriers previously, and trainer Jason Warren's 30% strike-rate (3/10) at Bendigo over the past 12 months adds further confidence.

Bendigo Next Best Bet - Race 7 No. 10 Tan Tat Delight

Tan Tat Delight has already shown she's capable of handling wet ground, recording two top-four finishes from six career starts on Heavy tracks.

The latest came at Sandown Lakeside early last month, where she was beaten just over three lengths over 1200m in stronger metropolitan company.

Dropping back to country grade is a positive, and she's been kept fresh after connections elected to scratch her from a Sandown engagement on Wednesday.

She was ridden quietly last start and similar tactics are expected from another wide barrier.

Jye McNeill reunites with the filly after riding her first-up at Pakenham, and she looks capable of breaking through at her first attempt over this distance.

Bendigo Value Bet - Race 9 No. 2 Ollandia Beach

Ollandia Beach has proven versatile across different track conditions, including runner-up finishes in both starts on Heavy ground.

The latest came in a Benchmark 62 at Wangaratta three weeks ago, where he finished second over 1590m after jumping from barrier four.

Caitlin Hollowood retains the ride and again benefits from an inside draw for Sunday's assignment.

While the Wangaratta race is yet to produce another winner, the winner, eighth and ninth have all finished in the top three at their next starts.

Expected to race prominently again, Ollandia Beach looks well placed to register his third victory of the season.
