Toowoomba Favourite - Race 2 No. 3 Langdown Legacy
The son of Power showed up well when making his debut over 1200m at this venue in December.
The gelding raced prominently early and stayed on nicely to finish second behind a frontrunning rival with previous race experience.
Racing on a Good 4 track that day, the front two finished nearly three lengths clear of the third, with the pick having joined current handler Kris Zahmel subsequently.
While yet to see race action for the Zahmel stable, the youngster did register a victory in a 650m trial on the inner track here recently.
The son of Power appeared to have no issues with the wet track that day, and despite a double-figure barrier, Aidan Keeley's mount looks capable of breaking his maiden at the second attempt.
Create With Cottee Class 4 Handicap Tips (Race 4)
Toowoomba Roughie - Race 4 No. 9 Starsarise
A dual winner this season, the mare took out a metropolitan Class 1 event at Eagle Farm in September.
She joined the Brooke Mackie stable ahead of her first start this preparation and delivered a pleasing effort when finishing fourth here.
Racing over 870m, the mare was ridden cold that day and is expected to derive a fitness benefit from the run.
While that effort came on Good ground, the five-year-old has shown she handles wet conditions, placing third in both starts on Soft tracks.
She has won second-up previously, and with barrier seven no concern, Starsarise has enough in her favour to surprise with the blinkers returning.

Toowoomba Next Best Bet - Race 5 No. 3 Mirra Impact
Mirra Impact demonstrated good form in Sydney last preparation, recording five top-four finishes from six appearances.
The five-year-old was spelled after being beaten just under one-and-a-half lengths in a Benchmark 78 handicap at Canterbury in February.
Racing over 1900m on a Good track, the gelding performed well from a wide barrier that day before joining the Corey & Kylie Geran stable.
A victory in a wet-track trial over 925m here last month suggests he is ready for his return to action.
The drop back in distance shouldn't pose too many issues, and with barrier four a positive, Gary Geran's mount can make a winning Queensland debut.
Better Lawyers Group Benchmark 60 Handicap Tips (Race 7)
Toowoomba Best Bet - Race 7 No. 4 Power Of Success
A strong record at this venue includes five top-three finishes from seven starts, including a victory here at the beginning of May.
Racing over 1300m, the gelding scored on a Good track that day and has performed well in defeat since.
The four-year-old heads into this race on the back of a second over 1600m at Gatton last weekend.
He was short of room approaching the 500m on that occasion and produced a good effort to be beaten by less than half a length.
While a track upgrade would be in his favour, he did place second on a Soft surface three starts back, and with Justin Stanley retaining the ride, Power Of Success looks capable of providing the Paul Wallace stable with victory in the finale.
