This four-year-old is still lightly raced and she has improved this campaign.

She arguably should have won first-up, but progressed from there over a suitable rise in distance when saluting second-up on February 16.

Bonnie Murringo was then sharply up in grade to contest a Country Championships qualifying heat at Wagga on February 28.

Her effort there under the circumstances was terrific, covering ground and providing a perfect tow into the race for the eventual winner, and despite that tough run, the mare fought on well in the straight for fourth.

This is a softer placement back to a Class 3 handicap, where the extra 100m should suit, blinkers have been applied, and Pierre Boudvillain takes back the reins, having been aboard for all three of her wins.

Tonkin Group Albury Guineas Tips (Race 6)

Albury Value Bet - Race 6 No. 2 Ethereum Girl

The Albury Guineas market has four runners at single-figure quotes, and they do look the only logical chances.

Autumn Break heads the market as a talented local who is unbeaten from three starts and was unlucky when placing in a Highway first-up.

There were excuses as a beaten odds-on favourite in the Country Championships qualifier on February 28, although she still appears short enough now against rivals with stronger form lines.

One of those is Ethereum Girl, who appeals at each-way odds for the Hayes stable and may be searching for rain-affected ground after saluting first-up on a heavy track last winter in a prep that culminated in a Group 3 victory in Adelaide.

There were excuses in a few spring runs, but her Thousand Guineas Prelude effort alongside Ole Dancer and Salty Pearl, both subsequent Group winners, reads strongly, and she arrives off a sharp Flemington jump-out win on March 6.

Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup Tips (Race 7)

Albury Feature Bet - Race 7 No. 2 Plymouth

It was hard to miss the Kevin Heffernan Stakes return, a race taken out by subsequent All-Star Mile winner Tom Kitten, with Plymouth running the second-fastest closing sectionals of that 1400m event.

He was more one-paced second-up following that in the Blamey Stakes, but was far from disgraced in a two-and-a-quarter-length defeat.

That form has since been boosted, with Birdman winning the Group 2 Peter Young Stakes, while Enxuto caught the eye when third in the Ajax Stakes in Sydney, a race he arguably should have won.

The gelding arrives to the Albury Cup third-up, having broken a long drought at this stage of his last campaign when successful in the Benalla Cup over this distance.

His third-up run last autumn was arguably his best of that prep when fourth-of-11 in the Group 1 Rosehill Guineas over this trip, and in a competitive feature, he ticks enough boxes.

Naughtin Development Group Flat Knacker Tips (Race 8)

Albury Roughie - Race 8 No. 12 Vinolass

There have clearly been some issues with Vinolass, given she is so lightly raced for a six-year-old.

She showed plenty of talent early, winning her first three starts, all on rain-affected tracks over short trips.

The daughter of Supido was in the market when runner-up in a metro BM72 at her first Sydney appearance at start four.

A Highway failure followed, where a slow recovery was detected, before another lengthy layoff, and she has been given more time since a sole winter run at Rosehill last year.

Given those most recent runs, she deserves to be a big price, but is more than capable in a race of this nature, with tactical versatility and a middle alley giving in-form 2kg claimer Jessica Brookes plenty of options.
