The JJ Atkins is the final two-year-old Group 1 of the season and will be run at Eagle Farm on Saturday, June 13.
Contested over 1600m, the feature dates back to 1893 and has been won by some of the sport's most memorable juveniles, including Luskin Star, Mahogany and more recently, The Autumn Sun.

This Chris Waller-trained juvenile is superbly bred, being by Toronado and the first foal out of Baccarat Baby, who was a Group 3 winner over this distance.
His dam is also a half-sister to three-time Group 1 winner Duais, and those bloodlines suggest Tron Bolt should relish the mile in his JJ Atkins attempt.
The colt continues to furnish throughout his first campaign, improving off an even debut effort to bolt in on the Randwick Kensington track.
He then showed his proficiency on wet ground when equally as impressive at Rosehill last time out, making light work of a quality youngster in Cormier, who isn't despised in this market.
A wide gate is the knock, but with James McDonald aboard, tactical versatility and the spacious Eagle Farm circuit likely to suit, Tron Bolt is the one to beat in the 2026 JJ Atkins.
2026 JJ Atkins Value Bet - Stormy Marco
One of Chris Waller's stablemates to Tron Bolt in this field is Stormy Marco, who races in the same dark green and red colours of Hermitage Bloodstock as the market elect.
These connections were successful in the 2018 JJ Atkins with star colt The Autumn Sun.
It's hard to know exactly what to make of the Sires' Produce Stakes, with the winner starting at 30/1, while the race's best closer, Kickup Rocky, was a 60/1 chance in that Group 2.
Kickup Rocky may be overlooked in this market, but the unlucky runner from that affair was Stormy Marco, who was held up at key stages before being forced to check off heels late.
He arrived in Brisbane off a Hawkesbury debut win and a pleasing lead-up trial, while he loses nothing with Nash Rawiller taking the reins as the veteran hoop aims for his third JJ Atkins victory.
