Thomas Farms Racing Rewards SA 3YO Plate Tips (Race 3)

Murray Bridge Value Bet - Race 3 No. 7 Harmonic Dancer

He has been costly for punters since a dominant maiden triumph, but Harmonic Dancer returned soundly as a beaten favourite at Morphettville on May 30.

Fitness appeared to give out late in that third-place finish, and there still looks to be upside with the Phillip Stokes-trained galloper.

The three-year-old drops back against his own age group for Saturday's assignment.

He is still putting it all together, and this feature may well have been an early preparation target.

His peak performance came second-up last campaign when bolting in at Morphettville on soft ground, while in-form jockey Harry Grace remains aboard and can settle the son of Pariah close to the speed from barrier four.

Murray Bridge Best Bet - Race 4 No. 3 Tobikko

Phillip Stokes and Harry Grace combine again with Tobikko, who contests a much easier assignment second-up.

The gelding resumed in a decent three-year-old affair at Morphettville on May 23.

Race fitness and softer runs in transit proved the difference between him and the quinella on that occasion.

Runner-up Redders had finished second behind a smart winner at his previous start and was also placed in a Magic Millions event here in March.

Like A Drifter completed a hat-trick with victory in that race and also heads the market for the SA 3YO Plate earlier on the card, while Tobikko had previously impressed on debut before winning a handy Murray Bridge maiden in December.

Carlton Draught Handicap Tips (Race 7)

Murray Bridge Next Best Bet - Race 7 No. 5 Riche D'Amour

When resuming over 1050m on South Australian Derby Day, Riche D'Amour recorded the fastest final 800m, 600m and 400m of the Morphettville program.

He followed that with a sixth-of-16 finish over 1100m here on May 23, producing the second-fastest closing sectionals of the race.

The rise to 1200m and a slight drop in grade are both positives on Saturday.

The gelding has some handy form references from last year, including a second-up Murray Bridge victory over Cash, who has since been stakes placed.

That campaign also featured a Morphettville placing in stronger company than he meets here, and while he will need some luck with his racing pattern, this looks a suitable race.

Smart Alchemax Handicap Tips (Race 9)

Murray Bridge Roughie - Race 9 No. 4 Budjik Boy

Although flatter second-up at Swan Hill last week, Budjik Boy produced a good return during the Warrnambool Carnival.

He was backed at odds for that fresh run and now appears much better suited stepping up to a mile.

The Horsham victory in October came off a shorter turnaround, providing a positive guide for the backup here.

The grey also placed in his only previous attempt at Murray Bridge, and that came third-up over 1400m on a Soft 5 earlier in the season.

Rain-affected tracks may be the key, with Budjik Boy never having finished outside the placings in three Heavy-track runs, while he has three wins and four placings on soft ground.
