Hong Kong champion Ka Ying Rising tuned up in Australia with a close third in a Randwick 1000m trial on October 7, sitting just behind Linebacker and Overpass.

The David Hayes-trained five-year-old arrives with multiple Group 1 wins and the profile of a proven international sprinter, switching to Randwick’s 1200m with a few public hit-outs now under the belt.
