From the Mick Kent stable, who is a great conditioner of these young stayers, Arabian Prince is as well equipped to run 2500m on breeding as any galloper in this field.

The lead-up has been sound, needing the blowout first-up in the VOBIS Guineas when in the worst going before breaking through second-up at Kilmore.

From the Galilee Final at Caulfield, he made ground for second on inferior going and now gets the services of Jamie Melham, who will need to overcome a wide draw.
